Navigators

When you or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer, information and support is imperative, and it is helpful to be with people who understand. Our cancer center staff knows that cancer care involves individual attention, compassion and empathy from everyone on the treatment team.

Nurse Navigators Are Here To Help
Nurse navigators personify the seamless and thoughtful care environment provided at the DeCesaris Cancer Institute. When patients come to the cancer center, navigators are assigned to assist them as patient advocates — coordinating appointment schedules, communicating with primary care doctors and specialists, and helping to translate and interpret the complexities of treatment.
Currently, navigators work with patients in the areas of thoracic, breast, brain and spine, colorectal and prostate oncology.
