Our Core Measures

Anne Arundel Medical Center is currently ranked #1 in the HealthStream Research National Comparative database of 600 hospitals.

Anne Arundel Medical Center is currently ranked in the top quartile of the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) National Comparative database of 3,711 hospitals.

HealthStream Research is an independent research organization with widely recognized credentials among healthcare organizations across the country. Telephone surveyors from HealthStream Research conduct randomly selected follow-up phone interviews among patients after they have received care here at AAMC, whether as inpatient or outpatient.

The results are reported as top box percentages. Top box scores represent the percentage number of patients that rated us with the highest possible score based on their perception of the care we provide.

These scores are then used as comparisons in state and national percentile rankings for hospitals.
